The client’s brief was for a quality, country lodge style retreat to compliment a beautiful lakeside site. Generous living spaces extend to outdoor equivalents. An exclusive first floor master suite occupies the cathedral roof space with supporting tea nook, dressing room and ensuite. Use of natural materials; cedar, stone, concrete floors and euro tray roof provide a solid ambience, with low maintenance. Fish processing, watersport equipment, barbeque area, boat ramp, jetty and trophy room were all planned to enhance this traditional lakehouse.
