Percy Thomson Gallery, Stratford

This urban infill project included formation of a transverse laneway, linking the civic centre with the retail street. Located on this link, the symbiotic design of gallery, cafe, i-Site and library created a unique opportunity to enliven the town centre. The gallery is a flexible community and regional gallery for fine arts. Jackson Architects were project managers and lead consultants.

NZIA regional award winner, Civic Architecture, 2002
